The Normal Stairs is a 3rd entry in "The Normal" series!
Background[]
The game's first testing phase officially started on April 14th, 2023, but unofficially, it started on April 13th, 2023. After that, it was closed on April 15th, 2023. The game had a game pass called "Mattress," which was only on sale for the first day of testing. The price before public testing was 90 Robux, and the price during public testing was 40 Robux. It's unknown if the game pass will return. It was previously a chair.[1]
Originally there was a stand with a character and the paper with "Gizmos" written into it, but when public testing started, the character got removed and the text changed into "be back soon :)"
The game testing phase was intended to be released in February, however, the date was pushed to March. After a month of silence, the testing phase was released in April. Under the "Comeback?" Video, Harlem replied to @JustANormalCat1's Youtube comment talking about The Normal Stairs Saying "We'll talk about it sometime 🤪"[2]
The game went public again in 2024, from 5/17/2024 to 5/18/2024. In September 2024, NowDoTheHarlemShake randomly started updating The Normal Stairs and testing games for it.
On 29th of January 2025, the game has been updated with a new icon.
Relation to Gavin's Story[]
Below the Mr. Hollywood 'trap' on Stage 2, there is a secret room. In this room, Mr. Hollywood sits dormant, and there's a keypad behind him. However, it wasn't functional.
